So, What is AirPark All About?

AirPark is creating a platform that allows users to find, book, and even sublease parking spots with a few taps on their smartphones. Think about it: no more circling the block looking for parking, no more expensive parking fees, and no more wasted time. Instead, drivers can quickly locate available spaces, reserve them, and navigate directly to their spots. Property managers and owners also have it easy with AirPark’s administration portal, which offers powerful tools to manage users and parking spots effortlessly.

And they are not doing this alone! Reeinvent has provided a development team, including a Product Owner and Technical Lead, to help bring this innovative idea to life. Together, we’re building the next big thing in urban mobility.

Recently, one of our team members took a trip to Lund, Sweden, to meet with former colleagues and some of the potential customers who are just as excited about AirPark as we are. The visit also involved scouting out a new parking area that AirPark plans to launch in early September. Our team has been hard at work developing and testing the new “AirPass” gate entry modules to prepare for this rollout.

Here’s how it works: with AirPass, all you need is a permit, and you can open gates with a tap on your phone — no more fumbling for keys or waiting for someone to let you in! Five of these modules have already been installed and tested in Lund, and we’re seeing firsthand how they’ll simplify parking for everyone involved.

What makes AirPark stand out is its unique approach to a very crowded market. Parking has always been a pain point in urban areas, but AirPark’s solution is simple, effective, and customer-centric. We love their idea of creating a niche in the parking industry by providing flexible solutions that tend to both individual users and property managers. As our team member mentioned after the Lund visit, “AirPark is positioning itself as the new kid on the block but with a very smart niche — and we believe they’ll do incredibly well!”
